Latest News

Interesting Times

These are extremely interesting times for immigration consultants! By now most of you should be aware that the government has chosen to replace CSIC with a new regulator. CSIC has started making its moves in response. Since I am not in agreement with the direction that CSIC has determined to take, I have resigned from the CSIC Board. According to the government the new regulator, ICCRC, should take over this summer. For more info on these topics please log in to my site.

IC List Serve

In my reference source survey one of the most useful sources of information was the immigration consultant list serve. The list serve gives you a place to ask questions of other consultants and to answer their questions. If you are interested in a two week free trial please check out IC List Serve under the Options menu.

Observations

A couple of members have offered their observations on CSIC activities in 2009 and CSIC efforts to make it difficult for Society members to get to know one another and discuss and debate CSIC activities, election candidates, potential motions, etc. As these things happen over time we do not see the accumulation of actions that are not necessarily in the best interests of our Society let alone consumers. Login to my site and go to Observations in the Options menu to find these interesting lists.
